What’s up YouTube. How are you doing today Channa here. I’m going to show you how to set up your Xbox One X for Dolby Atmos. So, first thing is first, you need to go to the store and download the Dolby access app. So, we’re in the store here, there it is and we’re going to install it. I swear every time I shoot a video up in the living room, my dog is over here snoring louder than human. It’s crazy. All right. So, now we launch it. Okay. So, the first thing we need to do here is select how we’re gonna experience it. So, we’re talking about home theater. So, we’re gonna do with my home theater. If you know Dolby Atmos is enabled, select continue. Okay So, you see these things on the right here, HDMI audio, optical audio and bitstream format. We need to go change that. So, what it’s gonna do is when we hit arrow right here, it’s going to take us to the Xbox settings and we need to set that up that way. So, we need at the top when you bitstream out, we need optical off and we need Dolby Atmos for home theater on. So, let’s go to that. So, here we are, your bitstream out, optical off and then bitstream format. We need to go down here to Dolby Atmos for home theater (HDMI only). Okay and then we press B and it takes us back to this area. Now it says Configure Blu-ray Player app for Dolby Atmos and this is optional. If you are using a 4k Blu-ray Player then you definitely want to do that.
So now we’re gonna go change those settings in the Blu-ray app. So, we’re gonna go down to disc & Blu-ray. It looks like I have everything enabled already. Let my receiver decode the audio that’s really the one that we need to do, but make sure this is also checked and it will be dlive to improve Blue-ray playback. Okay So, now you’re asking me well what’s up techno dad? What can I watch that’s in Dolby Atmos? Well, you can do anything from the Dolby access app. Gears of War 4 has in-gamed Dolby Atmos and there’s also a few titles on Netflix from the Xbox One X app. So, touch up, you see up there Dolby Atmos logo is there, what about Punisher. Ooh look at that, Marvel’s Punisher is also an Atmos. Death Note, I don’t know what that is Netflix original film, Atmos. Test patterns why would that be that makes no sense. Wheelman, looks like that is an Atmos. Mudbound, Atmos. Fireplace, why is that there, if it’s not an Atmos? The Blame is Atmos. Silent, and what is this Meridian. Oh, okay cool. Looks like there’s eight movies and series on Netflix via the Xbox one X app that has Atmos. If you want to experience Atmos.
